raised her family in the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades community. She attended Mommy and Me classes when her son and daughter were infants, both children attended the JCC’s nursery school, loved their JCC afterschool activities, and Stacie’s son even came back as a camp counselor in his teens. Stacie, an art and literature lover, was always busy at the JCC as well. She attended all the Jewish Book Month events, where she met and even got to introduce a few famous authors. And, a longtime admirer of artist Tobi Kahn, she has been attending his popular NYC gallery tours for more than a decade. With her kids now grown, Stacie is more involved at the “J” than ever. She’s taken up Mah Jongg and Canasta; she takes cooking classes; she goes on all the cultural day trips to museums and exciting historical sites; and she frequents the gym with a passion for spinning. Stacie appreciates the multiple roles the JCC has played over the years and shares: “The JCC has been part of my life for decades and now that I am an empty nester, I believe I will utilize it more than ever. It’s a pretty special place.
